This page explains what Findorio handles when you search for car services or post a community review.
Searches and location
Search terms and the location you enter are sent to Google Places to return nearby businesses. If you choose “Use my location,” your browser asks for permission and shares your approximate coordinates for that search. Findorio does not save your search text or coordinates. Google processes search data under its Privacy Policy and Google Maps Platform Terms.
Community reviews
If you post a review, Findorio stores your optional display name, star rating, review text, the Google Place ID for the business, your visit attestation, and the posting time. Reviews are public. A visit is self-declared and shown as unverified unless Findorio checks it. Do not include private contact details, payment information, or sensitive personal information.
Service providers
Findorio uses Cloudflare to host the site and store community reviews, and Google Places to provide business listings and Google ratings. Google Places listings and ratings are shown separately from Findorio community reviews. Findorio does not store Google business listing details returned by a search.
Retention and choices
Community reviews remain visible until they are removed or hidden. Findorio currently has no user accounts or automated review verification. To request removal of your own review, use the contact method provided by Findorio when available.
